We are seeking a talented and experienced Intermediate Frontend Developer to join our client company’s dynamic & innovative IT team in Athens new offices. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing visually appealing and user-friendly web applications. Your expertise in frontend technologies, creative problem-solving skills, and dedication to delivering high-quality user experiences will contribute to the success of the projects and the growth of our client company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement responsive and interactive web applications that meet client and project requirements.
- Translate design mockups and wireframes into fully functional user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
- Utilize modern frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), to create dynamic and engaging user interfaces.
- Optimize web applications for speed and performance, ensuring smooth and efficient user interactions across different devices and browsers.
- Test and ensure consistent functionality and appearance of web applications across various browsers and platforms.
- Developing mobile-friendly interfaces and applications, ensuring a seamless experience for users on smartphones and tablets, is preferred.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix frontend issues.
- Work closely with backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and successful project delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest frontend development trends, tools, and best practices, and actively apply them to enhance your skills and contribute to the team’s growth.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and timeline discussions, ensuring timely delivery of frontend components.
- Develop and implement user-facing features for web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Translate UI/UX design wireframes into responsive web pages, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance. - Collaborate with designers and backend developers to integrate frontend code with backend systems and APIs.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality, bug-free code.
- Continuously improve and optimize the user experience of existing web application code.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’sdegreein Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Frontend Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous web development projects (min. 3 years in the Web Applications Development industry).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, (HTML5, CSS3) and JavaScript. Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) is highly desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of JSON and XML.
- Solid understanding of AJAX and asynchronous calls to remote API’s.
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented design principles.
- Hands-onknowledge of User Experience (UX) and responsive design.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, CVS) and agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first developmentis preferred.
- Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Experience with web performance optimization techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of backend technologies and RESTful APIs is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication and writing skills in English & Greek.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving,and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Solid organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Selenium) and automated testingmethodologieswill be considered as a plus.
- Knowledge of jQuery, Bootstrap, will be considered as a plus.
- Knowledge of Java Enterprise Edition& modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue.js), will be considered as a plus.
- Knowledge of Relational Database development (MySQL and/or Oracle DB),will be considered a plus.
- Knowledge of mobile development using either native code or cross-platform tools, will be considered as a plus.
Involvement with Software Testing methodswill be considered as a plus. - Fluency with other languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Chinese), will be considered as a plus.
